Story / Concept

Jazy Beez Baby Boutique was crafted overseeing an unethical approach to fabrics and the environment and realised after constant research that cultivating cotton involves the process of harmful substances. This technique is used to create most cotton fabrics. Cotton is one of the most desirable materials known to man and is sometimes created with pesticides which in some cases leave the individual with undesired effects on the skin. Cotton just like most materials has an impact on the environment and as we know has created a footprint on the earth. From my research I found that OEKO-TEX organic cotton fabric was created in 2016 and has been known to provide individuals with the safety and certainty that they have purchased a brand of clothing that is right for them.

The main problem I came across raising my children was finding organically cultivated clothing for babies with sensitive skin issues. Experiencing sensitive skin as a child and raising my two children, both children faced similar skin sensitivity. After researching different fabrics, I found that organic cotton OEKO-TEX standard 100 was the best type of fabric for our skin type.

We use organic cotton as the main source of fabric for our garments. The environmentally friendly aspect has been known to be economically viable and is used throughout the world. Oeko-Tex which is certified and tested for harmful substances before use is the registered trademark.

For many years I have encouraged young mothers and new parents to use organically sourced cotton clothing for its softness, comfort, breathability, durability, quality, and long life span. It is also free from the use of pesticides, that eco-fabrics are the best way forward as it is environmentally friendly and more economically, a better option for babies and adults with problematic skin issues. I feel that organic cotton is better for a growing baby and also extremely soft on the skin.

There is a pain point with babies who have allergies and/or sensitive skin.

During my research, I found that Caregivers struggle to find originally crafted products, which acknowledge babies' skin sensitivity. Part of the reason why Jazy Beez Baby Boutique was created.

Jazy Beez Baby Boutique has references to my nickname Jazy Bee. The Z was added for the plurality of my family relations incorporating the past present, and future linkages. Becoming a mother of 2 wonderful children was the start of my narrative. Previously, obtaining a degree in Creative Art provided me the ability to formulate and develop the concept of Jazy Beez Baby Boutique.

My logo signifies five Bees; the colourful heart, on each Bee represents important family members conveying the past, present, and future of four generations.

We use minimal packaging preventing waste. We offer recycling and personalised service and delivery. Packaging and presentation are sourced from environmentally friendly organisations, investing in sustainability and caring for the social-economic future of our company.
